— Brain Tumour Foundation
At the age of 19, my friend David Bloom lost his life to a brain tumour. He was a kind and caring young man, a wonderful friend, and a talented triple threat with aspirations of Broadway that certainly would have been achieved had he been granted more time. The way Dave approached the end of his life was filled with love, courage, and incomparable grace. David and his family began the Brampton Chapter of the Spring Sprint in 2001. Dave passed away 10 days before inaugural Sprint. Since his passing, the Brampton Spring Sprint has raised over a million dollars in support of the Brain Tumour Foundation. The Foundation provides support to those battling tumours, and to the family and friends who surround them. Please consider supporting the Brain Tumour Foundation, and if you ever find yourself in Brampton in the Spring, come out and join the Sprint in memory of a beautiful soul.
